![]() ![]() My first impression was that the graphics are a nice upgrade from Avernum 2, the last Spiderweb game I played. I got a tiny bit of playtime in last night. If not then that's fine and I'll look forward to participating. All of Spiderweb RPGs have very large demos that unlock into the full game, so the demo is already out. May I offer to help with the hunt instead? I've used the DMFI toolkit before. As an avid NWN player I am really really interested in this, but not sure I'll enter for the GA. You will need Neverwinter Nights and have already applied for a unique multiplayer code to play. To be clear, post "I'm in!" to be given a spot in the Treasure Hunt. The event will take place around late October.Ī working knowledge of how to play Neverwinter Nights will give you an advantage.Įdit: fixed link which went wonky on posting. Your name will be mentioned as a generous donor unless you choose to remain anonymous. They can be GOG, Desura, Steam, anything worth playing. But if anyone else would like to donate to the treasure hunt, please feel free to PM them to me (and you can post here that you're donating). I don't have a limit, but the more people we get, I may have to hold more events or have a first-come-first-serve and when someone dies, the next person will get their chance to enter the game. But if you want a spot, post that you'd like to sign up. I'll give a more specific time when the date gets closer. The gaming will happen on Saturdays, likely starting around 7-9am EST (GMT-5). Tallima: I've had some previous treasure hunts. I'm only sending these people my IP address. If your name is not on this list, post in the forums or send me a PM if you want to play. Iphgix (tentative w/ baby) (ha! just noticed I included the WTF. It's a simple click to move, click to attack. Lxamyakxim (maybe) - note: if you've never played before, just load it up with your NWN multiplayer key (request from support) and get in the game. ![]() I'm not quite organized with this GA yet) Games disappear on a first-come-first-serve basis. You win these games by finding an item in game that says "Tier # Game." You then send a DM message to alert me that you found it and choose your game from that tier. I will try to make the game last somewhere around 5 hours or so, from start to finish. You'll need to find your own equipment, though. You'll be leveled up to an approximate average level of the players when you get on so that you can join in the fun. If you can't come on time but can still play a bit later (early riser in California?) you can still get into the game. Sound like fun? I hope so! We start October 18th. There is a game redemption maximum of 2 per player. When games are found as part of a team, your team will need to discuss who gets which games. So be sure to stay logged in if your character falls in battle.Īll the while, an arch-villain will do all he can to disrupt the players from messing up his plans (which would involve saving the world and earning some games). You should note that if you try to cheat the system and log off and then log back on, you will be dead. So if you fall in battle with a friend, you will have 5 minutes to have your friend clear out the remaining baddies (or kite them away from you). When you fall down, you lie there unconscious until there are are no enemies around you. And murders don't tend to last very long in the cold hard world of Leefe.ĭeath does not work quite like it does in regular NWN. However, without friends, you will surely die. Death will be costly and knocking out your competition is a viable strategy. Players will be able to team up or hunt each other. Inside of those quests will be hints, treasure maps and rewards of equipment and real-life video games. They will find quests in a very large world. Players will begin with a level 1 character. If you want a spot, post that you'd like to sign up. You won't know what is coming - coop, vs, who knows. This time around, you'll be engaging one another in a multiplayer game of Neverwinter Nights. ( see here for my last)īefore, it was an RPG Maker game. ![]()
